Pakistan has introduced an artificial-intelligence-based Prime Minister Office System. The platform is intended to reduce reliance on paper files and communicate and monitor government directives through a protected digital environment.
End-to-end monitoring
According to the official description, the platform can record a directive from issuance and communication through implementation, verified completion and post-completion monitoring.
Analytics and decision support
Structured information and analytical tools may help identify delays and administrative barriers. AI-generated recommendations will still require human review and clearly assigned responsibility.
Because the system may contain sensitive government information, access controls, audit logs, backups, cybersecurity protections and procedures for correcting errors will be essential.
